I also have an enormous passion for classic rock, blues, and jazz. I love indie hip hop too such as Lupe Fiasco, Gym Class Heroes, and The Cool Kids. Eclectic is what I aim for :) ..

| Its been sooo long. Life is complicated as usual..mostly with money. I have a new job working with children. It pays more but now I have more responsibilty like car insurance car notes paying a portion of the mortage and other house bills. Living with my boyfriend started off rocky because I was not happy with my looks, my job being so tiring and the people not being the most friendly, and the stress of all these new responibities. He said he didnt like being around me because I was so negative. I probably was. I think its better now. However I am feeling like I need a new job that pays more. Financially I am ok all my bills get paid but its tough. On top of that aparently I now snore which I never did before in the entire 5 years we have been together. So I wake him up at night. I think its because our bedroom is stuffy with dry air so I can't breathe very well and I have sinus issues right now. Maybe a humidifier will help. | | |
| Today I found out my cousin is mentally ill and has ceased taking her medication. They say she is shizophrenic however it sounds more like schizoaffective disorder too me, which has symptoms of both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. My cousin is running the streets of New Jersey mentally ill and possibly doing drugs. No one can reach her. Her mother apparently doesn't care and kicked her out. I understand she was doing irrational things but thats your daughter and she needs help. She is involved with the wrong people and sleeping outside. I learned that after I left when I visited this past summer she had tried to commit suicide and that she had attempted twice before. This has been going on only for maybe 2 years. She just gradually got worse.
Its hard to grasp the facts. I can't imagine her that way although I did notice irrational behavior when I was there but I thought she maybe had less serious issues. I wish I could find her and make her see she needs help but that will never work. She has to want to get better. As long is she is in the streets doing drugs to further distort her mental state she will be lost. I just pray.

| This weekend was great. Saturday was a ten year celebration of my high school. It is a performing arts school that opened when I was in 9th grade. They renovated an old school building downtown. I have to say I was extremely lucky to attend. It was like Fame. I believe I am one of the few students that loved high school.
The anniversary was celebrated with performances from graduates. The talent I witnessed was amazing. The experience made me intensely miss singing and dancing. Dione came with me. We had a great time. We argued once but honestly I was being quite bitchy. Sunday we went to Halloween store that was set up in the former circuit city building. He just bought a house and I told him he should have a party since Halloween is on a Saturday. I think it will be loads of fun. Costumes will be required. No entry without a costume. I think I will be a vampire :) We are going to go all out with decor and a fog machine. I can't wait. I have always loved Halloween!!!!
I am trying to get back to creativity. I have been lost for a while.
